Dr Barker can clearly explain the objective and technique of each procedure at your consultation.

In the majority of cases these surgeries can be completed under local anaesthetic in the practice chair. For more complex cases or, if requested, Dr Barker is able to surgery under a general anesthetic in the practice rooms or in hospital.

These surgeries are minor surgical procedures that are likely to result in some localised pain and discomfort which can be managed by pain medication. Most patients are able to proceed with everyday life and work often by the next day and continue normal life throughout the months in between specialist appointments.
